.ekwc is a workshop where artists, designers and staff members explore the artistic and technical possibilities of ceramics as a medium. Experiments are being conducted to find new ways of presenting ceramics. The acquired knowledge and experience is being spread nationally as well as internationally. The goal is to encourage the development of ceramic art and design. To reach this goal the .ekwc offers working and living space, as well as a team of specialised professionals. About 43 participants a year get the opportunity to work for a continuous or phased period of three months on developing their own plans. In addition to this, the .ekwc regularly organises thematic projects to which participants are invited.
