"For the Dutch Souvenir the 'Delfts B-set' of Hella Jongerius herself was the starting-point.
In this dinner service Jongerius combined old crafts- based production methods and a high-tech, modern way of working. She added new pieces to her `B -set´ service and included decorative motives from traditional Delfts Blue pieces, which are painted by hand, embroidered or applied by means of transfer or frieze grooving.
For the Dutch Souvenir several pieces of the B- set collection are scaled down to the size of dollhouse tableware; small and big cups, plates, bowls and jugs. The small cups are individually handpainted with flowerornaments, other pieces have transfers in gold and blue.
A small golden handle is attached to the mini-jug refering to the original that has a bronze handle.
In total nine pieces of this little dinner service are the fragile porcelain pendants of a charmbracelet."
