Waterland
"In the lower land there was always the threat of floods, because the sea with its dikes and the marshy rivers lie 6 m below sea level. The country was afflicted by big catastrophes in the past. The extensive dike development characterises the country. A coloured field in size of a handy object represents the variation in height of land, dike and sea. The solid clay is glazed in blue and green. You may hang it on the wall, set it down on the table or on the floor. "

Heliapropelia
"Todays windmills transform the energy from the wind into electricity and thus provide our households.
The model is supposed to represent a miniature version of a contemporary turbine engine windmill with 2 wings. In size it relates to a floor-lamp. At the rotation axis of the wings a bulb is shining. At the backside of the axis the electric engine will be installed for the rotation of the wings.
The object is made of white and blue glazed clay.

Measurements: Wings 45 cm, height 1,50 m"
